The Goldmouth / Your data

Privacy Policy.

What we collect, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we keep what an order needs, we don't sell anything, and you can always ask us to hand it back or delete it.

01

What we collect

When you order a piece, the checkout takes what it needs to get it to you: your name, your email, your shipping address, and what you bought. That's the deal — no delivery address, no delivery.

If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we keep your name, email and whatever you told us, because we're humans who answer mail.

Your browser tells our site basic things any site sees — pages visited, browser type, and the like — so the site works and we can tell what's broken.

02

What we don't collect

We never see or store your full card details. Payment runs through our checkout provider; card numbers never touch our hands.

We don't run ad trackers across other sites, and we don't buy dossiers about you from data brokers. We have a jewelry shop to run.

03

What we do with it

Order details get used to fulfill the order — charge you, ship the piece, handle a return, answer a question about it. Contact messages get used to write back.

We may keep a record of what you bought so we can honor warranties, returns and complaints later.

That's the list. We don't sell your information, rent it out, or trade it for favors.

04

Who else touches it

A few companies help the shop work, and they handle your data only to do their job: our shopping cart and checkout provider (Shopify) processes your order and payment; carriers get the address on the box; our email provider delivers our replies.

We share the minimum each of them needs — a carrier doesn't need your order history, so it doesn't get it.

We may also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it.

05

Cookies and your cart

The site stores a small thing in your browser so your cart remembers what you picked between visits, and keeps the site working the way it should. No profile-building, no following you around the internet.

Clear your browser storage and the cart forgets. That's the whole story.

06

How long we keep things

Order records stay as long as the law asks us to keep them — tax and consumer rules have opinions. Contact messages stay until they're handled and no longer useful.

When we don't need something anymore, it goes.

07

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, get a copy, fix it, or have it deleted — write to hello@thegoldmouth.com and we'll do it, unless a law makes us keep a record (like a tax receipt).

You can also ask us to stop using your information for anything beyond running your orders.

We answer these requests like we answer everything: like a person, and promptly.

08

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version lives on this page. The version here when you place an order is the one that covers it.
