The Goldmouth / The fine print
Terms & Conditions.
The rules of the shop, in plain words. No traps, no ten-page snoozefest. Buy from us and these terms are the deal — read them once and get on with your life.
01
Who you're dealing with
The Goldmouth sells the jewelry on this site. Every order runs through this site and our shopping cart; when you check out, you're buying from us — not from a stranger's storefront.
If anything here reads wrong or something on the site doesn't match these terms, write to us first. We'd rather sort it out than lawyer it out.
02
Orders
Nothing is yours until your payment goes through and we accept the order. If a piece turns out to be unavailable — a supplier sold the last one between your click and our check — we'll cancel that item, refund it in full, and tell you straight.
We can decline or cancel an order that looks off: a mistake in pricing, an address we can't ship to, or activity that smells like fraud. If we do, you get your money back.
03
Prices and payment
Prices are shown on each product page in the currency the checkout gives you. They're set by the piece and its supplier, and they can change — the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Payment is handled by our checkout provider when you click to pay. We never see or store your full card details. Tax and shipping, where they apply, are shown before you confirm the order.
04
Shipping
Pieces ship from us or directly from the suppliers who make them. Some pieces travel farther than others, so delivery times vary — the estimate at checkout is an estimate, not a promise with a stopwatch attached.
If a package is lost in transit, tell us. We'll take it up with the carrier and work out a fix — a replacement or a refund — rather than leaving you empty-handed.
05
Returns
If a piece arrives wrong or damaged, tell us within a reasonable time of delivery and we'll make it right — replacement or refund.
Some pieces can't come back: custom-made items and anything the product page marks as final sale. If a piece can't be returned, we say so on its product page before you buy, not after.
For everything else, send it back unworn, in its original packaging, and we'll refund it. Write to hello@thegoldmouth.com first so we know it's coming.
06
The jewelry itself
We sell real gold and real materials, and we describe pieces as honestly as we can — materials, sizes, stones. Photos show the piece as well as a photo can; screens vary, so exact color and shine may differ a hair in person.
Jewelry is jewelry. Treat it as the product page suggests and it will last; wear it in the ocean, the gym, and the perfume counter and don't blame us when it fights back.
07
The site and what's on it
The words, photos and layout of this site belong to The Goldmouth. Product names and imagery may belong to the suppliers behind the pieces. Don't lift them for your own store.
We aim for everything on this site to be accurate — prices, availability, descriptions — but if something slips through, the terms above (pay what you saw at checkout, or a full refund) are the fix.
08
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for anything that goes wrong with an order is limited to what you paid for the piece in question. We're not on the hook for indirect losses — missed occasions, lost time, and the like.
Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you that we can't take away by contract. Where you live decides which law applies if it comes to that.
09
Changes and contact
We can update these terms as the shop changes. The version on this page at the time you order is the one that counts for that order.
